“Pizza Before the Hut” Campaign
Terms & Conditions
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor: The “Pizza Before the Hut” Campaign (the “Campaign”) is sponsored by Pizza Hut, LLC, 7100 Corporate Drive, Plano TX 75024 (“Sponsor,” “Pizza Hut,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
2. Campaign Period: The Campaign begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time on December 29, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on February 8, 2026, or at the moment the Triggering Phrase (defined below) is first heard during a live, national broadcast or cable television football game (including on-field post-game interviews and press conferences immediately following an applicable game) as further defined below, whichever occurs first (the “Campaign Period”).
3. Campaign Description: During the Campaign Period, the first collegiate or professional football quarterback whose spoken words are audibly broadcast on a live, national broadcast or cable television football game (including the on-field post-game interviews and press conferences immediately following a game) saying the phrase “Pizza” immediately before saying “Hut” (the “Triggering Phrase”) will trigger the awarding of a Pizza Party (as defined below). Only one (1) Pizza Party will be available to be provided. If the Triggering Phrase is not successfully said and heard during a qualifying game broadcast as determined by Pizza Hut in its sole discretion during the Campaign Period, a Pizza Party (defined below) will not be awarded.
For purposes of this Campaign:
- The words “Pizza” and “Hut” must be verbalized together by a collegiate or professional football quarterback. The inclusion of additional words or sounds in between “Pizza” and “Hut” will not be considered as a potential Triggering Phrase.
- The Triggering Phrase must be clearly audible on a television broadcast of an eligible football game.
- Words spoken off-camera, inaudibly, or not included in the broadcast audio do not qualify.
4. Determination of City Receiving Pizza Party:All determinations regarding:
- whether the Triggering Phrase was spoken,
- whether it was spoken by a qualifying quarterback
- whether it was audible during a eligible game,
- the timing of the phrase, and
- whether all Campaign conditions have been satisfied shall be made by Pizza Hut in its sole and absolute discretion, and such determinations shall be final, binding, and non-appealable.
Pizza Hut is under no obligation to review or monitor all broadcasts and may rely on recordings or its own review methods.
Once Pizza Hut, in its sole discretion, has determined that a quarterback has executed the Triggering Phrase as required, Pizza Hut will announce the city receiving the Pizza Party on social media or on the following website https://www.pizzahut.com/c/content/big-new-yorker.
5. Pizza Party (1): If the Triggering Phrase is validly triggered during the Campaign Period, Pizza Hut will award a pizza party for the city associated with the winning quarterback’s team as determined by Pizza Hut (the “Pizza Party”).
Pizza Party Details:
- The Pizza Party consists of pizza provided by Pizza Hut at a time, location, and format determined by Pizza Hut in its sole discretion.
- The Pizza Party will consist of no more than 500 pizzas.
- The Pizza Party is not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may not be substituted, except at Pizza Hut’s discretion.
- Pizza Hut reserves the right to modify, substitute, or limit the Pizza Party due to availability, operational constraints, or legal considerations
6. No Affiliation With Third Parties: Pizza Hut is an independent company and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or an endorser of any collegiate or professional quarterback, player, team, or league that may elect to participate in the Campaign. The Campaign is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any football league, team, players, broadcaster, or governing body.
7. Conflict of Interest & Competitor Relationship Disclaimer:By operation of this Campaign, all participants and other potentially affected parties acknowledge and agree that:
- Pizza Hut may have existing or future business relationships with companies that compete with entities affiliated with a collegiate or professional quarterback, team, or league.
- Any collegiate or professional quarterback, team, league, or affiliate who may have contractual, sponsorship, endorsement, or other relationships with a competitor of Pizza Hut assumes all risk associated with such relationships.
- Pizza Hut shall not be liable for any claims, damages, losses, disciplinary actions, contractual disputes, or other consequences arising from or related to:
- a quarterback’s spoken words,
- participation or perceived participation in the Campaign, or
- conflicts with existing sponsorship, endorsement, league, or team agreements
8. Release of Liability: By operation of this Campaign, all participants and affiliated parties agree to release and hold harmless Pizza Hut, its parent company, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to:
- the Campaign,
- the determination of the Triggering Phrase,
- the awarding or non-awarding of the Pizza Party,
- any broadcast content or speech, or
- any alleged conflict of interest or competitive relationship.
9. Limitation of Liability: Pizza Hut shall not be responsible for:
- broadcast delays, audio omissions, or technical failures,
- inaccurate or incomplete broadcast recordings,
- human or technical error in evaluating the Winning Phrase, or
- circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
10. General Conditions: Pizza Hut reserves the right to:
- cancel, suspend, or modify the Campaign if necessary for any reason,
- disqualify any event or Triggering Phrase it determines does not meet the Campaign requirements, and
- interpret these Terms & Conditions in its sole discretion.
11. Governing Law: This Campaign shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Severability: If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
