PIZZA HUT CORPORATE CONTRIBUTION GUIDELINES
At Pizza Hut, Inc.® we believe in the importance of supporting the communities in which we live and work. We receive thousands of funding and donation requests every year and because we cannot support every worthy organization, we have developed these guidelines to help organizations understand our priorities and procedures.
Pizza Hut is committed to feeding the many needs of young people through our national programs and partnerships.
Our annual World Hunger Relief initiative provides meals to the children who need them the most around the globe by supporting the UN World Food Programme. The Pizza Hut BOOK IT! Reading Program was established in 1985 and feeds children's minds in elementary schools across the nation by instilling in them a lifelong love of reading. In the Dallas community, Pizza Hut fosters the need for self-expression by making the arts more accessible to less fortunate youth. In addition to our corporate efforts, our franchisees generously support the communities in which they operate.
Pizza Hut, Inc. does not provide support at the corporate level to any of the following (see Local Support):
- Profit-making entities
- Athletic groups, activities or fund-raisers
- Endowments, capital campaigns or memorials
- Religious organizations or programs
- Travel fees for school groups or individuals
- Political organizations, campaigns or candidates
- Medical care or donations

We recognize that many opportunities exist within different communities. Our franchise and company-owned restaurants across the country generously support the communities in which they operate. Most requests, including the fund-raising areas mentioned above, are funded at the local level. Contact a local Pizza Hut® for more information and details on community activities.
